Legacy giving funds the parts of this work that outlast a single year: housing, land, agriculture, healthcare, and the local businesses that make donation unnecessary.
Why It Is Called Legacy
Some gifts change a month. Others change what is possible.
A gift that covers food for a family this month matters, and we are grateful for every one. But a gift at this level does something structurally different. It buys land. It builds a clinic. It starts a business that pays wages for years.
Infrastructure does not need to be re-funded every month. Once it exists, it keeps producing food, care, and employment long after the gift that created it.
The most generous thing you can fund is the thing that makes your giving unnecessary.
That is what these levels support, and it is why we ask for them directly rather than burying the request.

The coffee, textiles, and artisan goods offered at each level come from Ethiopia and are chosen with care. They are a genuine thank you from the place your gift supports.
They are not products, and your gift is not a purchase. If you would prefer that every dollar go directly to the work, tell us and we will send nothing but our thanks.
We would rather you give for the right reason than receive something nice.
We are working toward formal charitable status. Until it is granted, we will not describe gifts as tax deductible.
Larger Commitments
If you are considering something significant, let us talk first.
For gifts at the founding level, or for multi year commitments, we would rather have a conversation than take a card payment. You should know exactly what your gift is building, and we should be able to answer for it.
