The story of this work belongs to the families living it.
This section will hold updates, family stories, and photography from the ground. We are building it deliberately, with permission, rather than filling it quickly.
We would rather wait than take something that is not ours.
The fastest way to make an organization look established is to publish photographs of people in need. It works, and it costs the people in those photographs something they were rarely asked to give.
So this page is nearly empty, and that is a choice. As families choose to share their stories, and as we can photograph the work honestly and with permission, this is where it will appear.
A story that is not freely given is not ours to publish.
In the meantime, everything we can say plainly about the work is on the current projects and village pages.
What we will and will not do with an image.
These rules cost us persuasive material. We are publishing them so we can be held to them.
- Consent before publication
- Nothing is published without the informed permission of the family in it. That includes photographs of children, and it holds even when a compelling image would help us raise money.
- No poverty imagery
- We do not photograph people at their lowest moment to move an audience. Hardship is real and we describe it plainly, but a family’s dignity is not a fundraising asset.
- People, not subjects
- Families are named, quoted, and described as they would describe themselves. They are participants in their own story rather than illustrations of a problem.
- Accurate context
- Images and stories are presented with the circumstances they were actually taken in. Nothing is recaptioned, restaged, or borrowed from elsewhere.

First person accounts from mothers who chose to share what changed and what has not.
Field updates
Plain written reports from the ground, including the parts that did not go to plan.
Village progress
Documentation of land, agriculture, clinic, and manufacturing development as it happens.
Photography
Images made with permission, presented in the context they were actually taken in.
Press and mentions
External coverage of the work, collected here as it appears.
Annual reporting
Verified results published against the commitments we stated in advance.
