This page describes work in progress, not accomplishments. It is here so anyone considering a gift can see exactly what it funds today.
Direct assistance to specific families.
Every item below is help delivered to a household we know by name. There is no intermediary and no general fund it disappears into.
- Food
- Consistent food support for households where a parent would otherwise have to decide which child eats. This is the first thing we address, because nothing else holds until it is handled.
- Housing
- Repair and rebuilding for families living in structures that are unsafe or failing. Shelter is the difference between a household that can plan and one that cannot.
- Shoes
- Shoes sound minor until they are the reason a child cannot walk to school or works barefoot on rough ground. They remove a daily, physical barrier.
- Education access
- Removing the practical obstacles that keep children out of a classroom, whether that is fees, supplies, distance, or the household pressure to work instead.
- Emergency assistance
- Direct response when a family hits a crisis that would otherwise undo months of progress. Medical needs, sudden loss of income, urgent essentials.
Three commitments, stated in advance.
These are goals we are working toward, not results we have achieved. We publish them ahead of time so the work can be held to something specific.
Homes Rebuilt
Our goal is to completely rebuild two homes so families can move from unstable living conditions toward safe and dignified housing.
Families Consistently Fed
Over the next six months, we are working to provide consistent food support for eight families so parents are not forced to make impossible decisions about who eats.
Families Connected to Education
Of those eight families, our goal is to help at least three establish a pathway for their children to attend school consistently.
Relief is the entry point, not the plan.
Everything on this page is stage one. It is necessary, and it is not sufficient. Food delivered this month does not change what a family faces next year.
What changes that is infrastructure: land that produces food, a clinic that handles routine care, and businesses that generate wages locally. That work is underway in parallel, and it is the reason this organization exists.
